Kalgan River Chalets & Caravan Park

To ensure everyone enjoys their stay in safety and comfort and that park facilities are respected please take the time to read our park rules.

Speed Limit is Strictly 5 klm in the park area and 25 klm on the entrance road.

Strictly one vehicle per site. Other vehicles must park at the visitors carpark.

All Caravan and trailer drawbars must face the roadway from your site (fire and emergency regulations).

Visitors must park outside in Visitors carpark located near the Tennis courts. Evening visitors must vacate park by 10pm.

Chalets are to be kept in a good clean manner and on checkout all rubbish must be removed.

Campfires are permitted in camp sites only, NOT in Chalets. Fire pits are to be and raised and enclosed only. Fire Pits on hire and Wood can be purchased at office.

Fire Hoses are not to be used for any other purpose.

Pets A maximum of 1 pet (registered breed) are welcomed in your own accommodation when Camping, but we are not Pet friendly in our Cabins, Chalets or Bathrooms. Pets must be declared when booking. Pets must be tethered at all times & are the responsibility of the owner.

Sites must be kept clean and tidy. Use clothes lines provided.

Taking of under-sized fish and feeding them to the pelicans is not permitted. And will result in eviction from the park.

No fish to be cleaned on site please use fish cleaning facilities at boat ramp.

Boat Ramp and Jetty are on the park grounds and are for the park patrons ONLY.

Park facilities ablution block, tennis court, golf course, Gas Pizza Oven, etc are complementary to park patrons only.

Septic tanks & Dump point located next to ablutions block. Please only use correct chemicals. NO Napisan or Vinegar. We are on Septic tanks, and this will cause a blockage.

Grey Water is NOT to be dumped on the ground. Please use pits provided or hold in your own tanks or buckets.

Children are to be under adult supervision at all times and supervised in ablution blocks. All Children, Bikes, scooters etc are to be kept away from Chalets and units. Bicycles, skates, blades, scooters and skate boards are NOT to be used after dark. Parents are responsible for any damages to buildings if caused by ball games within the park. Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the golf course.

Noise must be limited between 10pm and 7am. Failure to comply with this will result in eviction from the park.

Generators are NOT permitted at this park.

Management reserves the right to ask any guest deemed disruptive, aggressive or unruly behaviour to leave the park immediately.
